Bridges Connect
Bridges help us overcome obstacles, and create access to resources and relationships needed for us to feel a sense of belonging.
The Montpelier Bridges to Belonging project shares the stories that connect us to each other — and the stories that reveal where we need to build new bridges to ensure that Montpelier is a welcoming place where everyone can belong and thrive.
What is your Montpelier story of belonging?
Stories can be about feeling supported, or about how it’s difficult to feel like you belong here.
Bridges to belonging can be:
A PLACE in Montpelier that you have a strong connection to.
A RELATIONSHIP with another person that is important to you.
Where you find SUPPORT with an organization, group, or resource.
Where you feel a sense of ENGAGEMENT as part of the community; where you have fun.
Our stories will reveal the places, people, resources, and engagements that help us feel a sense of belonging in Montpelier – and the gaps that need to be filled so everyone feels like they can belong and thrive here.
